Working with the best in order to become the best.
I consider myself a Native Nevadan as I have lived in Nevada since I was 9 months old. I graduated from McQueen High School and the University of Nevada, Reno, where I was a member of the National Debate Team and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and a minor in English.
I graduated from Thomas Cooley Law School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. During my time in law school, I made the Dean’s List three out of seven trimesters. I also competed on the National Moot Court Team and held an externship position with the Ionia County Prosecutor’s Office. I served as a teaching assistance in the area of contracts. I also worked as a peer tutor in the areas of contracts, criminal law and constitutional law.
I began my professional legal career long before Law School. I worked for Larry K. Dunn & Associates as a Law Clerk for seven years. Additionally, I worked as the Administrative Legal Assistant for Richard A. Gammick in the Washoe County District Attorney’s Office for six years, as well as serving as the Washoe County Community Outreach Coordinator.
As an attorney, I have taught Continuing Legal Education for the Washoe County Bar Association, in the area of DUI law, and I proudly practice law with my father, primarily practicing criminal defense, at Larry K. Dunn & Associates.
I have been happily married for 30 years to my husband Randy, we have two beautiful children, Anna Karena & Daniel and three grand children, Karli and twins, Kaevon & Kendrik.
